I actually heard about this CD at the Kings Dominion JoyFest concert. His work is anointed. His lyrics combined with his innovative music ministers to my soul. Having this CD on hand is to have a ready-made praise and worship service. Buy it, don't burn. Support and show your appreciation for this project. God Bless! This CD makes you feel lighter, and joyous. Every song is a foot tapper and hand clapper. The songs are easy to learn and the music is up-beat. Anyone who loves Jesus will love this music.  Ok Fred (16 March 2010)I like Fred Hammond and have most of his CDs and most of them I can listsen to from beginning to end and praise my way thru. This one....Not so much. It's ok but I'm not feeling it as much as the older material. Edifying. Encouraging. Confirming. (10 February 2010)As a died in the wool Fred Hammond fan, the first few songs musical orientation threw me off. I was not sure I would fully embrace this CD, but each song unfolded to encourage my soul and as we moved from song to song, I found he was giving me what I needed through music and lyrics. Soon, I will know these songs by heart and be lifted up as he has done time and again over the past 16+ years. If you love Fred Hammond, buy this with anticipation but remember the first few songs are more crossover than Urban R & B. Nonetheless, Fred knows how to bring you into the presence of the LORD. This CD has many of songs that your soul yearns to sing. |
