He has left the world with this treasure of himself for us to remember him by and enjoy, long after he is gone. You can feel the emotion from his heart when you listen to it. A true #1 Class Act. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When Mother is Happy!!! (31 August 2010)Easy as can be. Shopping for the things my 73yr. old mom would like to have or listen to. She's not into the computer and she lives 200 miles away. I find everything she needs or thinks she needs on Amazon:) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Leonard Cohen Live in London (25 August 2010)This seller is the best. I thought I had a problem and he graciously fixed it without any questions asked. I would definitely order from him again. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A Gift to the Elderly (15 August 2010)I had never heard Leonard Cohen. At 77 years of age how did I miss him? Thanks to PBS I heard him for the first time. He restores my pleasure in music. He "speaks" to my life experience. So wonderful at this stage in life. Such a gift. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great album on all levels (01 August 2010)The quality of the amazing musicians, like Javier Mas, Sharon Robinson and the backup singers, and the marvelous arrangements make this a truly great album. Leonard Cohen is graceful and deep voiced and totally present, not exceeding the limits of his voice but using it as a lyrical tool, perfectly integrated with his terrific ensemble. As others have written, this music is not just a sentimental experience or rehearing of tunes you liked in the past, but a truly satisfying musical experience in the now. Thanks, Leonard Cohen. |
