Check out New artists stepping in the scene Jimmy Kane and his new album "Constant State Of Motion" also a very good purchase Interesting New Album from Gorillaz (05 October 2008)Well, this new album from Gorillaz still offers something new to everyone. This virtual band is really the creation of two guys who thought it would be cool to synthesize a cartoon band. The effect is an interesting twist of hip-hop, alternative, and pop music. The catchy tune, "Feel Good Inc." has been heard on radio. Other favorites are "Dirty Harry", "El Manana", "Kids with Guns", and "Dare". Be sure to let this CD play for a while before you give up. Great CD to play in the car while you drive in rush hour traffic. Worth every penny! (22 August 2008)Although I only like about 3/4 of the tracks on this album, it's still a total must-have. Excellent! Lyrics are NOT complete (14 July 2008)I love the CD. After 2 years I still can't get enough of it. However, I sprung for this enhanced version when I read that it contained complete lyrics. FYI: it does not. There are only fragments from each song and even those are clearly NOT what went to tape in some places. |
