| | Customer Reviews: The album I have been waiting for...! (15 December 2008)Ever since I saw the documentary, I always wondered if the concert at Carnegie Hall, NY had been recorded. Well, it was and boy is it nice to have it. You bet 'ya! Magic moments (30 November 2008)The love of music this band give to us, the listeners, cant be paid for by money. This is music that embrases all the good things in life. I feel so clumsy with words trying to explain how this music makes me feel. Laughter and tears comes out at the same time. I hope that these sounds reaches everybody on the planet. Thanks, peace and love to all Hard to believe it was 10 years ago (28 November 2008)This is a nice way to cap off what has been the BVSC phenomenon of the past 10 years with a lovely 2-CD set of the Carnegie Hall concert featured in the hit documentary. All the familiar voices are here, the songs sound wonderful, and there is a handsome booklet to go along with the CD's. The only problem is that the two CD's probably could have been squeezed onto one as you get barely more than 90 minutes of music with little in the way of extras. Seems to me that the way to have gone here is with a CD-DVD set that provided a much fuller testament of this breathtaking concert in its entirety. But, I imagine that will come with the next anniversary of this event. Great discs--not exactly the performances in the movie (23 November 2008)I am delighted to have this cd available at long last. Using the movie for music listening was not optimal. My one gripe is that version of "Chan Chan," the BVSC signature song, is decidely not the one from the end of Wim Wenders movie, where the members of the band were introduced et cetera. I was really hoping to have that one. But it is an amazing show; one which can never now be recreated live. Enjoy! If you are not a fan (21 November 2008)heck even if you are not a fan you should get this.. Can't listen to it without tears in my eyes.. Hope a DVD of this performance is release.
